The 8 week Professional Tile Fixing course has been designed to turn a novice into a skilled tradesperson.  You will gain all the technical and practical skills that are required to achieve perfect results on every tiling installation.You will complete projects using professional materials on 18 different set-ups that prepare you for any job you may face.  Students are guaranteed a work placement with our installation company, Professional Ceramics, upon completion and are encouraged to work towards their NVQ qualification which can take anything from 10 weeks to 1 year.

•    Setting Out – designing layouts for walls and floors
•    Cutting & Fixing – techniques for cutting and use of professional tiling equipment
•    Advanced Wall Tiling – 3 sided shower cubicle, around windows, squares, circles
•    Advanced Floor Tiling – Victorian pathways, showers to falls and specialised floor designs
•    Adhesive & Grout – use and application of products used by the professionals
•    Under Floor Heating – complete installation inc latex/levelling compound and tiles
•    Natural Stone – installation, cleaning and care
•    Business Start Up Seminar – advertising, marketing, trade accounts and your legal responsibilities
